We have just finalized the recuitment of a Copywriting Manager for our Competence Area Ideation & Design. Now we are looking for a collegue and looking for a second Copywriting Manager.
As Copywriting Manager you will lead one of two smaller teams of creatives assigned copy writing and creative lead roles, in large communication projects with an international audience. And you will part your time between also delivering your own creative expertise as Copywriter in projects, and managing your team.
The Ideation & Design team supports IKEA Communications with world-class format-independent creative communication competences such as Copywriters, Art Directors and UX Designers. Integrating innovative production techniques as a source of inspiration into ideation, leading to more impactful communication at lower cost.
Leading and developing the Copywriting team you will:
Lead and manage people for them to perform and deliver within their assignment as high-performing individuals.
Encourage co-workers to be in the lead of their own development, keeping up-to-date with competence demands, current media landscape, technical capabilities, technological advancements, consumer trends and Life at Home insights.
Ensure the continuous development of the co-worker’s creative, specialist and/or technical expertise to remain ahead of the organisation’s competence needs within copy writing and contribute to competence succession plans.
Work with mutual alignment and responsibility with other managers within the competence area as well as other stakeholders within the organisation.
Develop and maintain a strong external network within copy writing to secure recruitment and freelance needs.
Challenge current ways of working, enabling co-workers to take lead in exploring new creative heights and production methods that lead to more impactful and relevant customer experiences.

Extensive experience working as a Lead Copywriter or Creative Lead/Creative Director, for a large agency or brand.
Deep understanding of the creative communication development process with a focus on content for digital media channels.
Experience in leading teams, directly or indirectly.
Experience leading and developing creative competences.
Fluency in English, spoken and written.
Experience developing communication through storytelling.
Knowledge of how consumers search for and experience communication.
A keen interest in people’s life at home and interior design.
Experience working in a large-scale creative and production environment.
Experience working in a multicultural, creative and inclusive work environment.
