Purpose on the Total Rewards Manager role is to lead Total Rewards implementation on Country level focusing on effectively attracting and retaining key talent in a cost efficient yet inspirational way, appreciated by our co-workers. In this role you will also provide expertise and support to our Mobility program.

To succeed in this role, you need to have...
• Experience of compensation and benefits principles, job evaluations and market benchmarks.
• Experience in managing and implementing compensation and benefit packages
• Strong project management and general leadership skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities, initiatives and key stakeholders
• Knowledge of administrating and processing payroll information, to ensure co-workers get the right net pay at the right time, including accurate tax, social security reporting and input to financial accounting.
• Attention to detail, you are analytical and have good problem-solving skills
• You have good or excellent excel skills. Knowledge of SAP and SuccessFactors is beneficial
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. You are fluent in Finnish & English
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
We expect you to have...
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compensation & benefits
• Experience with SAP and Successfactor is beneficial
• Strong project management, analytical, organisational and excel skills
• Proven record of developing people and organisations
• Preferably: Experience from a global matrix organisation and/or participating on global projects
What you'll be doing day to day
Key task and responsibilities:
• Leads localisation of Global Centre of Expertise Total Rewards structures, frameworks, policies, rules and guidelines in order to ensure successful implementation in country and in line with all regulatory compliance
• Leads and develops the local Total Rewards offer to ensure excellent co-worker experience
• Monitors the (job) market and trends, conducts job evaluations and benchmarks in the country to find the best practice in developing competitive job offers
• Oversee and develop the national compensation processes like annual salary review, recognition, bonus planning and incentive schemes
• Monitors the cost and usage of Total Rewards programs, develops recommendations as appropriate, and negotiates cost with external partners such as vendors, consultants and brokers
• Tracks the national Rewards budget in the organisation and manages existing compensation components. Assess the effectiveness of actions taken and pro-actively recommends new and innovative approaches and solutions.
• Support and train People & Culture and other organisation key stakeholders on all Total Rewards related matters, policies and guidelines.
• Initiate and lead supporting communication activities to ensure transparency and understanding of Total Rewards
• Lead and support in the implementation of digital tools and systems that support efficient and accurate Total Rewards processes
You also work as Mobility specialist with following assignments:
• In cooperation with global and local mobility and the business: implement, maintain and continuously develop mobility policies and processes that are effective, efficient and in line with IKEA Culture and values, market trends, latest developments and best practices.
• Ensure the country is in line with the mandated ways of working to secure quality, consistency and compliance, in the execution of IKEA Mobility policies and processes.
• Act as expert support for co-workers transferring to and from the country.
