This is a salaried position working 39 hours, 5 days over 7. This includes working a variety of shifts (days & evenings) & alternate weekends.

This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires you to multitask, producing and serving food with regular heavy lifting.

In addition, you are passionate about the food business and exploring new and innovative opportunities as well as motivated by creating a high-quality, affordable and unique culinary experience for IKEA customers.

• Ensure that retail foundations and sales steering tools, food safety and Swedishness are in place to optimise commerciality.
• Contribute to maximising food sales across all customer meeting points in store by acting as a commercial business partner to steer and optimize, local pricing and services to enable extraordinary growth in the food business.
• Lead and implement the commercial strategy and commercial calendar in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Lead the implementation of the IKEA Food communication and cross merchandising strategy with relevant stakeholders within and outside of the function.
• Secure excellence in operations and high-quality standards of customer experience in all areas and optimised levels of commerciality are achieved by cooperating effectively with the Food Operations Manager.
• Develop and improve the business by seeking and acting upon customer feedback.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Retail Food business plan and other action plans.
• Identify, recruit, introduce and develop the many talents and to secure succession planning.
