WHO YOU ARE

• Knowledge about Ingka Group internal proccesses, rules, templates and real estate procedures, such as PLM, Due Diligence and other instructions.
• Knowledge of the internal and external property development process, and contributing to the business case creation up until internal approval (IRLP) to secure location, with input from internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge about the joint market expansion plan and an understanding of how the results can be aligned and leveraged in collaboration with other IKEA departments.
• Progressive property development- Knowledge of how to identify and create opportunities beyond vacant land e.g. purchase multiple buildings.
• Broad knowledge of Real Estate development which enable risk and opportunity identification at early stage.

• Coaches and challenges Project Development Managers on their performance, including development projects realization within the frame of the approved Investment Requests and Meeting Place Concept, Centres Direction, Culture & Values, valid Company Rules and regulations.
• Inspires and supports Project Development Managers to deliver on their projects and targets by removing barriers and leveraging insights and learnings from other projects.
• Supports Project Development Managers in identifying gaps in their professional and leadership capabilities and creating individual development plans as well as follows-up on it.
• Empowers Project Development Managers and teams by setting clear frames and expectations as well as by letting them act within the defined borderlines of accountability.
• Sets high project management standards within the assigned portfolio of development projects and encourages Project Development Managers to demonstrate project management excellence.
• Reports on the assigned development projects portfolio.
• Support Development Manager in accumulates learnings from different development projects, identifies areas of collective / specific needs and based on it provides recommendation for improvement to PDMs.
• Manages a development project(s) directly by acting in accordance with the Competence profile for PDM.
